Providing a safe space for children and young people to learn to participate in Urban sports under our guidance.

As a measure to ensure easy access to the sports we provide all of the equipment if needed.

These sessions are aim at Earlsfield Primary and Honeywell Primary Schools after school club attendees although not exclusive, not advertised anywhere else. We have heard the calls from the school clubs for a session at the skate park and in those cries we have also heard the call for Inline Skate Sessions at the skate park so we have organised two opportunities for a 2 hour sessions @ Clapham Common Skate park SW4 9DD in the Easter Holidays on the following days:

Tuesday 31st March

(Skateboarding)

10:00 - 12:00 pm

Wednesday 1st April

(Inline Skating)

10:00 - 12:00 pm

These sessions will be limited to 10 places per day.

North Battersea has no suitable skate spaces help us demonstrate the need in the local area for designated skate spaces and skateparks, providing much need spaces for intergenerational healthy sporting activities, please help us by filling out our survey Herethank you very much in advance.

Disclaimer: Urban Sports or Extreme Sports as it is otherwise known always comes with number of injury risks, and skateboarding is no different. The same injury risk goes for all other mainstream competitive team sports, the primary difference with skateboarding is the risk of injury can be higher depending on your goals as a skater and most of the injuries sustained over the time skateboarding will not be inflicted by anyone else so rest assured. Safety is our primary concern so during our sessions it is imperative that all learners wear all of the safety equipment provided at all times and follow the instruction of the tutors, although this will not remove the risk of injury it will significantly reduce the number and level of injuries sustained. Engaging in this activity will be undertaken at your own risk. In the event of an injury it will be treated where possible, logged and you shall be informed on collection, in the event of a serious injury you will be contacted at the nearest opportunity. By checking the box I (we) am (are) hereby declaring that I (we) have read, understood, accepted and agreed to the above text and accept the risks associated with Urban Sports (skateboarding or inline skating) mentioned above. I (we) am (are) also providing my (our) consent for Urban Studio Sessions and Michael Mapp Photography taking photographs and videos of my (our) child(ren) within the club setting and at our events. Some of these images will be for use as advertising for our services and events images and videos will be post to our social media accounts (twitter, facebook, instagram, linked in), further online use will include being posted on our website and on various parent sites and forums and to funders and partners. We reserve the right to display them on leaflets business cards and posters when applicable and in print, local press, publications and videos will be displayed at our events along with on our social media accounts and external promotional websites. We will not use images of your child in conjunction with their name if named purposes are required we will use a name that is different from your child’s real name, unless we have you consent otherwise.
